Overview

Kerbal Space Program 2 is the sequel to the space flight simulation game Kerbal Space Program.

Following the success of the original Kerbal Space Program, Kerbal Space Program 2 has taken a leap to present players more possibilities to explore the space. Plays can build a space program, construct powerful spacecraft, design resource-gathering colonies, and uncover much more secrets of the galaxy.

For 2021 summer, I worked at Intercept Games (studio under Take-Two Interactive) as an UX design intern to focus on two projects, Kerbal Space Program 2 console design and first time user experience flows.

Timeline

For both project, I began with research on Kerbal Space Program current design. I playtested other games with similar mechanism to gather notable interactions that can be applied in Kerbal Space Program 2. I offered suggestions for the art team and engineering team to implement.
